Timothy Olyphant fans will get a treat on September 12th when his new movie, This Is Where I Leave You premieres. The movie features a terrific ensemble cast including Tina Fey, Jason Bateman, Rose Byrne, Jane Fonda, Adam Driver, Corey Stoll and Connie Britton.
The story centers around the Altman family who gather for their father’s funeral. Jane Fonda is the matriarch of the family. Fey, Bateman, Stoll and Driver are the grieving children who are dealing with issues of their own.
The remaining cast play the Altman’s friends and neighbors. Olyphant plays a neighbor who was once Fey’s high school boyfriend. Circumstances has left Olyphant’s character impaired and living with his mother played by Debra Monk.
The movie marks Olyphant’s first film role since I Am Number Four. It looks like it will be a departure from the gritty world of Justified. Olyphant is great at creating unforgettable characters and is deft at both drama and comedy. I am sure he will be using all his skills in this new project which should make for some great entertainment.
